We’re on the other side of the world and yet it feels like a home game so far: Duel of the fates gets played Spurs trumpet Glory, glory now gets played Got a feeling they were quite excited to welcome Ange (back) and the Hotspuroos.
Kulu has typically held onto the ball for far too long on so many occasions, has to work on releasing it sooner, slows play and momentum so much. Lost possession a lot of times too.
Maddison with a nice goal, albeit definitely hits his hand in the build up. Albeit I don’t think there’s anything wrong with how it clipped his hand, another reason why I’m all for scrapping VAR as they’d have ruled it out.
At least one likely penalty waved away Ball hits a hand in the buildup to the goal Yet somehow nobody notices this game doesn't have VAR
Poor defending and keeping for their goal. Level at the break. Maddison’s goal should have been disallowed for handball so can’t complain too much.
Hall, Devine and Donley played with a real sort of swagger and a composure level well above what you’d expect from youth players. We have to utilise some of these players going forward. Potentially a real golden era for the club. Penalties now to follow after the draw.
Gil’s penalty saved, terrible one too. More or less summed up his Spurs career if we’re honest. Toon score their first. Scarlett scores his. Toon score their second. Donley rifles his top corner. Toon score their third. Hall scores his with a cheeky one through the middle. Toon score their fourth. Skipp scores his. Toon score their fifth and win it 5-4.
