Townsend leaves Leeds as he thinks its a ****hole

Morning all. This tread is a bit heavy for a Friday. But I'll put my two bod's worth in anyway. Townsend may one day be a class act. But at the moment, he's a silly little boy who can't cope without his mummy & local mates to look after him. I've read that we put him up in an hotel, rather than let a landlady or someone from the club look after him. As one whose job takes him to strange parts of the world & can often spend days in hotels with little to do after work, I can appreciate his sentiments. But he is supposed to be a professional sports man trying to make his name in the game. Walking out on the biggest club he'll play regularly for at his age & with his limited experience isn't bright.

Heyho, we move on. Will be interesting to see whoelse leaves to free up wages & space for players Warnock wants to bring in for the rest of the season.

 

I know what I'd do if I was stuck in the hotel.............
