    He was roughly 16/17 then.

    Since returning to Germany he's improved. Freiburg are a poor team with very few decent players but Bastians is certainly one of them.

    Also, he's an ex-winger who has found that playing in defence is a better position for him but he can cover LB, CB and LW if required and has occasionally played up front.

    Like Perch, he's versatile but with one major difference; he can play football.
