They’ve been in the top division 55 years on and off since the leagues started, where’s we’ve been about 10 years. I would think they could safely say they are a bigger and more successful club than us. Hopefully with the buying players for the future and academy players coming through we can get it right. Because unless we start averaging 25k financially we are not at the races compared to other clubs, and that is before the parachute payment clubs.
3 clubs rumoured to be chasing Fielding. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...clusive-north-west-championship-clubs-1612628
We need a new No1 keeper for sure and to me is the critical area of the side that needs to be addressed this summer. I'd be happy with Fielding as backup though.
Henderson update.. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/championship-club-ponder-move-for-manchester-united-man/
Henderson is being noticed, I hope MA has got his finger out. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/unbelievable-manchester-united-fans-message-1614858
M/boro sniffing around Flinty £5m to £8m. http://the72.co.uk/103626/middlesbrough-target-bristol-city-centre-back/
Would make sense for LJ and Ashton to get Adomah back. He'd get the City faithful back on side, for a while at least and allow some breathing space, because it could turn very difficult next season.
ROD - Wrong - I didn't comment on here from early March 17 till I answered your post 25/7 about renewing a season card. FYI My reply 25/7:17 ' Morning RODney, I haven't renewed. No matter how many million Lansdown throws at Junior, it will end in tears, just a matter of time'. But hey, don't let facts get in the way of a good story.
They are both predicting gloom, so both comments are not really a million miles apart. The only ones in tears this season, were you and the usual suspects.
Sam McQueen - Southampton https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/sam-mcqueen-bristol-city-bryan-1617207
Very happy with Sam McQueen if he comes back. As much as I love Bryan, it would be good to have a 'proper' left back at the club, rather than a player who can't decide where on the left he wants to play
