I agree. Not that I don't rate him, but £50m is an idiotic price. I assume they're just flying a kite, but sadly someone just might pay it.
True. However whats a right fee now 30? It seems you cant get a **** Player out of a long contract for 25mil now Someone will pay big for him and if its a side actaully capable of winning things like chelsea the press will call it a bargain
At those prices..unlike a Suarez etc I'd be happy enough..Coutinho as good as he can be is a pussy....he's the type of player you can a younger replacement easy enough..he's never given the consistency to say world class. Get in a top notch striker and winger and we'll not miss him in the slightest. *that's with the money from him...still need a couple of strapping midfielders and a LB with normal transfer money lol
Don't sell Couthino. He's 24....younger than Suarez was when he joined us....until his injury, he was arguably the best player in the premier league....there's a reason Barca want him! His best years are about to start...I'd like to enjoy at least a couple of them
Rakitic is a good player but isn't enjoying his best season, hopefully all this stuff is pure speculation.
Liverpool believe they are the frontrunners for the signature of Real Madrid star James Rodriguez, reports say. The midfielder was the star of the 2014 World Cup but has fallen further and further down the priorities list at Real since arriving after the tournament. Manchester United and Chelsea are rumoured to be monitoring the situation, but Jurgen Klopp’s side have already made their move. Liverpool have consistently investigated whether a deal for Rodriguez could be arranged, but have been knocked back in every attempt. But the Reds are now confident the transfer will go ahead as long as they secure Champions League football. The Mirror claim Liverpool have been in contact with Rodriguez’s agent and have been given an encouraging response. Rodriguez is thought to be valued at around £65 million by Real who are now open to parting ways with the once irreplaceable asset. Zinedine Zidane has told Real to go out and find him different options in midfield this summer. The order leaves Rodriguez in limbo and the Colombian has decided to explore the possibility of a summer move. Liverpool will not be the only club interested in Rodriguez, but are confident they can push the deal over the line should they secure a Champions League spot The Reds currently occupy the final European spot in fourth, but Manchester United have the opportunity to leapfrog them should the Red Devils win their two games in hand. When you start hearing about swap deals it normally means its pure fantasy. If they truly want him this summer then expect their current players and ambassadors to start talking about him in interviews more and more
Yes, that's exactly how they operate. Very hard to stop as the club can disown the comments while at the same time probably organising it.
If Man U had to pay £89m for Pogba, who has been ****. I want £100+m for Couts and even then I wouldn't make it easy for them (put on a load of add-ons etc) Its typical of the big two Spanish clubs, get their plays to do all the talk in the media (especially during international breaks) so they can distance themselves from any potential suggestion of tapping up, but keep up stirring speculation. Dirty tactics.
TBF no club is a #desperate as Man Utd were, and still are, after failing to buy a decent midfielder since 2006
