Liverpool backed to complete stunning Wolves transfer - but there's a big catch Wolves transfer news - the winger shone in the two games vs the Reds this season, with Klopp becoming a well publicised https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sp...erpool-transfers-adama-traore-wolves-18079233
Obviously very quick and built like a brick ****house so difficult to dispossess, but he hasn't got enough in his all round game to impress JK
I will be awkward here and ask how you know he doesn't have enough in his game to impress Klopp. Did you think Salah or Mane had enough to impress them before he bought? I will happily admit that Klopp transforms players and gets them playing in a way that suits the team, i think with a player as fast and powerful as this he could make very good use of him with work on his decision making.
Dont be silly, the lads an absolute beast, he has all the raw materials there a bit of fine tuning and he could be unstoppable. I've watched him a few times this season and hes made mince out of the opposition. If we wanted a like for like rotation option for Salah or mane I'd be more than happy with 50 million.
Those sort of transfer fees might be a thing of the past once we get going again. And that 'bit of fine tuning' is easier said than done
If transfer fees do take a dip for a bit then he will be a bit cheaper as everyone's transfer value will be adjusted. I just think hed fit straight into the team, allow for rotation with the front 3 with minimal disruption or having to alter tactics.
I don't know but that is what I would guess from what I see of Traore. A bit one dimensional, scary at times but inconsistent. On Salah no, we all knew he was quick but hadn't seen a lot else. Sadio had done eye catching stuff at Southampton so less of a surprise
You could apply that to other potential targets aswell though, I think Werners price is around £50m? Who do you take....Werner or Traore?..................
I've not seen as much of Werner, his highlights look very good but I dont think hes in the same mould as mane or Salah. I think Werner would be a bigger gamble than traore
Traore was like a motorised headless chicken a while back, but I think he's improved a lot. If Klopp decided to go for him I wouldn't complain, and it would be interesting to see what he could do with him. The lad's like a small tank and fast as a combine. Lots of potential, but not quite there yet. Having said all that, I take no notice of rumours like this until more substantial evidence turns up.
.................Werner is different class, tried and tested in the Bundesliga and closing in on 100 league goals. German international with 11 goals in 29 apps. Traore would be a massive risk at anything over £20m for me, if at all
It's not an arguement over who is the better player, Werner is obviously in a league above, but will that translate into the prem, it's not a given by any stretch many have tried and failed
We haven't been linked to Werner for no reason, he is the most likely 'big' signing we will make in the near future. The two players are of a very similar age, I just cannot see Traore getting close to Werners quality
