Fair enough, if that's the case I find it quite funny. Sky have rated it as the 8th most likely signing to happen today <laugh>

Also seen Ulloa has had a transfer request accepted by Leicester. He would tear up in the championship, surprised one of the relegated clubs haven't gone in for him actually

Morning Doc, the way the football league monies are divided is so unfair

Parachute payments have ****ed the championship so much. How long before relegated clubs from the champ to league 1 get some sort of parachute payments and then start to divide that division as well?

The Wilshire rumours come from a fake Popey account.

Anyways, AC Milan are now in for him.

    Elland Back ‏@EllandBack1 now
Does anyone know whether the Messi rumours are true? Celino was overheard saying it was going to be a very Messi transfer window for us!

I agree but when it comes to the keeper you can't afford a square peg...

Sloth, Diacouraga, Botaka none were given a chance. I can accept that (just) if the coach doesn't like the look of them but it confuses me when I see us bring in Grimes and Hernandez. Grimes was awful, Hernandez played out of position rotated with Mowatt.

Botaka out wide is always a better option than Mowatt, even Dallas. Then we look at Viera and Phillips, we "did" have a Danish international who didn't look bad from his limited chances. Diacouraga has one bad game and is binned.

In comparison Grimes looked worse and how many more poor games do we allow Mowatt?

We are fans, we are not professional coaches but we can see what works and what doesn't. It took nearly three seasons for coaches to realise Mowatt has no pace and he can't take a corner.

I was a Green fan, I can't wait for him to be replaced now, every Leeds fan can see we have at least two better keepers in reserve but the coach can't see it? We could all have told Monk don't make Bamba captain, he is not even very good at defending.

This isn't an attack on Monk, it is just a large question mark as to what they see that many of us don't. Evans won me over because he actually did see a few things we didn't and he managed to get those average players bringing home some decent points.

If Evans had been given this kind of backing we would probably be top of the table now, the danger is if this all fails what does Cellino think? He throws money at transfers, he listens to coaches, he brings in players they want and it still doesn't work.

My prediction for deadline day... A rush last minute capture who will be next seasons deadwood or a loan we look up on Wiki... We don't even do the simplest signings swiftly, how long did Bridcutt take? He wanted to join, we wanted to sign him he had been here on loan and how long did it take?

Was it three weeks ago now that we were promised a PL player would be signing that isn't Bridcutt?? Who was that player and where is plan B

    Morning all

Ah Transfer deadline day. The most disappointing day for a Leeds fan lol.

TBH I actually think there will be some coming and going today.

Morning Wolves, yes, it has resurfaced again, though it seems a logical target.

Is he better than Antonsson and Roofe, he is short at 5"8 not going to get on the end of much so he either replaces Antonnson in a 4-4-2 or we change the style of play and formation yet again.

If we sign him in place of Wood give it three weeks before we hear complaints that we have no threat in the air or at set pieces.
