Don't entirely agree although I do see where you are coming from... Green, how many points dropped due to him? Will work = not working yet = playing out of position? Wood has scored one more than Antonnson, he will work out okay in a settled squad with a decent supply. @LeedsinSpain I agree Wood isn't great in the air, actually awful when you consider his height but he needs marking. The opposition are not going to let a 6'3" striker stand unattended at a set piece, he will attract the oppositions largest defender. Once Pontus is playing who is also a bit of a giant you suddenly have panic and doubt at every corner given away.
So much truth in the following article http://www.ihateleeds.com/2016/char...k-mpanzu-and-leeds-maddening-transfer-policy/
But not an ounce of a suggestion on how to right the problem. Hes only another fan having a moan without any reference to finances coming into the club and what we can afford. Anyway, sick of pointing this out. Roll on next week when hopefully everyone will have got over Taylor and his greedy bastard agent
Grabban is a good shout, but Chesh Lambert has hardly played and when he has he is expected to be up top by himself as a target man only. Put him alongside Wood, Roofe or Antonnson and you have plenty of goals. Lee Trundle retired but still does work with the Swans and plays for a non league outfit. So far he has scored a million with his latest hat trick last weekend. Top strikers only excel when they drop down a division. Trundle is fat and unfit and hardly trains.
None of us have a remedy pal, we're not paid to either.. It was a very good article (I thought) hence why I feel for Cellino this time around as we have a plan and it has a large question mark. The article points out how we wasted money bringing in anyone and everyone without any future plan. This time around it's as though Cellino has let Monk sign who he wants (within budget) but so far it still isn't working and why? Roofe reportedly cost £3m and where is his position? On the bench!!! Why is he on the bench, because the plan was to play a certain formation and it got changed two games in. Now you have the likes of Whelan saying Roofe is Struggling and Hernandez isn't living up to expectations, well I have an answer for that, play them in their desired positions, the position you initially signed them for. Personally, I am preferring the signings influenced by Pep Clotet... Watch him be our new coach before the season is out.
As in how much will we pay for someone to take him First time I won't mind the club captain being sold, though it is quite comical... How can you be club captain and after three games you're unwanted.... I wouldn't mind seeing some statistics regarding club captains, you would be hard to beat as many new ones as we have had in the last 6-8 years.
He's falling down the pecking order. I think it's to make room for this Dutch guy they've been trying to move in for the last couple of weeks
