As some may recall I've just spent a few days in Milan. What most people aren't aware of is the reason why I've been in Milan. Well, it was to get to the bottom of a saying which has been around for quite a number of years now. The saying seems to have originated in the late 1960's and then resurfaced again in the mid1990's and persisted until today. Was the saying based on fact or was it just fiction based? Well over the last few days I have made extensive enquiries with many people from all areas of Society being questioned and re-questioned to find out the truth of the matter. Well I'm pleased to say I have the answer. I have managed to establish the true position and have asked the top man from that City and all I can do is relay his answer to my question which surely shows that the saying is clearly fact and not urban fiction...
There is written proof also. It is safe to say that a Mackem has truly never been to Milan. Yewrope is indeed a foreign field.
I went to Milan last year as an advance scouting party for Trev and saw nee Mackems. please log in to view this image
One of my customers was there recently and he swears he saw no mackem in Milan Nee ****ing chance. p.s. do the mackems even know where Europe is?
Everyone else spells it wrong mate so it doesn't come up on Mackem google. It's YEW-ROPE not Europe. This is the likely reason no one has ever seen on of them in Milano.
There was a lad on BBC NCL the other day from Sunlun saying he wanted them to have their own airport and radio station now.
