Off Topic Tube bomber arrested

Apparently they have got him. An 18 year old caught in At Dover.

They should have just done this quietly and handed him to our security services for a chat.

Maybe in Hereford.

I believe that in extreme circumstances extreme measures are needed.

We wring him dry of intelligence and get rid.

He'll have a nice warm cell for a decade or so now.. and we will be paying hundreds of thousands for the privilege.

 

Should have extracted as much info as possible then shot the scumbag.

Well I'm sure we could have given him a little rowing boat, with a hole, zero supplies and sent him on his merry way

 

After he had rowed his boat over to France I'm sure 100 of his mates could of used the boat to make the return journey

 

I'm not convinced he'd make it to France. Aside from the hole, us mistakenly launching a torpedo from one of our subs would probably render the boat unusable...

 

The little **** should be dropped off at Hereford. Any liberal **** that says we can't do that should join them and be shown how the real world operates.

I'm liberal on the issue.

I don't agree with meeting extremism with extremism. I also feel that any who advocates right wing policy or retribution, also hypocritically will hold the view our country is better than places which would hang or kill people with barely a puppet trial, like Iraq, maybe Saudia Arabia, even the US.

That doesn't mean I tolerate extremism, I just believe it needs to be combatted in a different way, largely from inclusive societal values and better integration.

We are heading towards a fairly introverted, autistic future where we are immersed only in a bubble of our own consciousness. That lonely solitude is a breeding ground for extremism.

 

I totally agree, however they're still c@nts who should suffer the most painful of tortures whilst being made to look at the centre pages of Playboy with a tape recording of Jim Bowen saying " look what you could have won " on continual loop.

 

I can understand how Windy and others feel but can't agree with that view. I also would be deemed a liberal but agree essentially with JPF's view. Long term extremist responses will not resolve extremist actions.

Sorry. Shouldn't have been flippant but the one thing that the problem isn't is integration. Every single one of our terrorists have been native born and bred, football watching fully integrated murderers. It isn't an integration issue with the Islamists any more than it was with the IRA
