I saw two things to day in Sunderland that I never thought I would ever see. I saw a man kissing another man in Sunderland station in broad daylight and I saw Sunderland fighting toe to toe against Everton and be the better team. I am still recovering from the Everton win. I thought we were absolutely tremendous, a real team well organised and determined. I was part of a crowd that almost brought me to tears with its oneness, from start to finish we were right behind the lads, and the applause at the end for the team and for the man himself was inspirational. If that is what we are going to get in the future we are in for some fun.
We all had our say this this situation and this certainly is a side with two sides to it. I am with you on this, it really is amazing what a team of people can do. I have never seen us play with that fight before. As a fan and someone who pumps my good earned money into this club has only wanted one thing. For our players to be coached and enjoy playing for sunderland. I'm ticking both off the list because in PDC we have a lover of football. Which is a word I haven't used in a long with in relation to sunderland. What a day...... Well done lads!
Absolutely gutted that i missed it, all the videos, emails, phone calls have all been unanimous in heaping praise on the whole day yesterday. Gutted but proud to be a Mackem.
