We scored, they couldn't then look at it as it's irrelevant. It's not a red card either. We got a draw against Spurs due to VAR somehow deciding something ridiculous. Decisions balance out over a season, though almost always in favour of the big 6 clubs. That hasn't changed in 30 years.
It's a red all day long he looks at him and elbows him in the face... Var was brought in the fix matches easier imo. Throw in a few weird calls left right and centre, but ultimately the big 6 are getting given penalties for nothing
Don't think even Maguire's that stupid. But, yes, it's selective viewing and allows them to make it easier for bigger sides. Someone should do an analysis of the decisions. The penalty was ****ing absurd, and lack of commentary on Rashford cheating even worse. Still, if it wasn't for Darlow and Lewis we'd have got a point.
Krafth was done too easy for the 1st then done again before that Rashford shot. Max didn't bother his arse to help Lewis for the 2nd
Let's not forgot the same ****er got a pen at St James the same way. Rashford might help a few scruffy kids for ready meals, but he's a cheat.
Lascelles got full on elbowed in the face. The defender turned around prior to doing it. It was blatant. The penalty given to manu (they have had over 30 penalties over the last 3 seasons btw) was extremely harsh. If it was in the other box it wouldn’t have been a pen.
Absolutely. And I’m convinced it’s it’s been instructed from a higher level against not only us but some other teams. It was discussed on talk sport and they are effectively saying “but there was contact”? What difference does that make? He clearly dived!!!!
And Rashford has been diving for years. He’s a cheat. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....er-disagrees-old-mate-Owen-Rashford-dive.html
I was under the impression that they sit and watch it and inform the ref if he has missed something? EDIT : Sorry, this is in response to the elbow
Milivojevic on Wilson was the worst I've seen go unpunished Was a career threatening tackle.. Wilson got lucky. VAR just ignored that
It was a very very soft pen. However, the bit about contact does matter. If there is contact these days then it will almost always be given as a pen if VAR gets involved, regardless of whether the attacker dives to highlight the contact or not. We didn't get as far as VAR getting involved to check it though as far as I am aware.
I could understand, without VAR, that minimum contact, in the referees mind on the pitch, can be given as a penalty, human, heat of the moment, error. However, with the benefit of VAR, if a player goes down too easily, like Rashford did, then a decision of no pen would be acceptable. VAR has stamped out non contact diving I think. However, decisions like Rashfords should be reversed to, in order to stamp out minimal contact diving too. Should get rid of VAR completely mind. Its ****.
Man united know that unfortunately and if they get in the box and can't see the goal they look to place a foot on the defenders and go down instead.. It works very well and it's going to get them back in the top 4.
