Confirmation from Eddie of what we already knew. we should have done the same and told Man U to **** off with Dubz.
Nah, keep taking their money when we need to move someone on, and see how long it takes them to realise the wealth gap is getting bigger when they aren't getting the best possible prices for their player sales.
I get it, but I don't want to get onto a us vs the rest of the world conspiracy mentality though. I'm just enjoying seeing the club heading back in the right direction. If we start citing everything as being part of a master conspiracy against us then we'll just look stupid. Yes there will be roadblocks, and some might appear deliberate & targeted, but largely it's the same for most teams. I don't care if it takes time before we see success, at least now there is the hope that we can. That'll do for me right now having seen what Ashley's reign can do to a club.
Just appreciate the fact that they think of us as a threat and enjoy the confirmation that Eddie has us heading in the right direction.
Club doesn’t want to sell to rival… that’s hardly a new thing ffs Im sure if we asked, city prob wouldn’t want to tell us de bruyne either.
We're still a way off attracting players from Man City and Liverpool unless they are fringe players not getting a game. Their players want to be playing in the champions league. I expected the likes of Leicester and Wolves to be reluctant to do business with us, but Chelsea was a surprise. I wouldn't expect to be one of the teams threatening Chelsea's top four bid this year, though it would be a very pleasant shock if we were.
Interesting that Southampton picked up 4 different players from Man City at a total cost of around £43. Must be a good relationship there between the clubs. Be intetesting to see how they all get on for that price.
Man City don’t see arsenal as a threat. And they replaces both of those with Haaland. I’d sell Salah to anyone if we signed mbappe
Saints new head of recruitment was head of youth recruitment at Man City. So has that relation and obviously knows the players. Bit iffy. City get nice little bit of money for players that wouldn’t play for them. Plus a nice sell of clause plus option to buy back if any of them actually turn out decent. While also using that transfer money to splash out on first teamers.
True. And, after all, you don’t need to be claiming everything is a conspiracy against us to look stupid.
