I'm fed up with being Sensible but it's too difficult to change the name now. Geddon behys lets have a few more.

One game in, but Plymouth already looking like they'll be the team to stop in League 2. Crewe finished the season well, and are very good at home. Backed them as dark horses for promotion, but looks like they've drawn the short straw when it comes to the opening game #PAFC

One of the best halves of football I've seen from @Only1Argyle in several seasons! #COYG #GreenArmy #pafc @ArgyleAwayDays

Really good half. Strong in every area. Some lovely play, 2 lovely finishes. Joel has been a livewire up front & Crewe have struggled with him. Great celebrations for both goals. Let’s keep this going. #pafc

Superb from top to bottom, Crewe don’t even have a plan A let alone B. #pafc

Half-time: 2-0 to #pafc. Deserved lead. Some of the high pressing has been a joy to watch. Crewe have threatened a few times but Palmer has risen to the challenge each time.

Our two strikers have been a menace for Crewe this afternoon . Great high pressing and energy from Moore and Grant. #pafc

Four bookings are a little worrying but guess what, the fans don't think the ref is very good.

Just watched the Sky highlights........only 38 seconds.....tight sods.....certainly nothing at all for Crewe supporters....nothing but the goals shown in 38 seconds for Argyle....there sounded like an awful lot more good stuff....but of course it's only Div 2.

Just listened to the post match interview with Crewe's manager David Artell.....what a plonker that man is.....was he at the same game as the rest of them. He'll get over it one day....but how on earth does he motivate his shadow let alone a professional football team.

spilled my coffee 4 min. in, not because they scored, but because Lyndy predicted 4 min for first goal, which beat my 10 LOL

It was a bit suspicious being spot on and the first game wasn't it. I'm gonna have to watch him closely for insider dealing.

I may have got the goal time right but not the overall score. I just thought that 4 minutes seemed like a good time to score. No fixing going on round here.

Fair to say I had a very enjoyable day. Nice people at Crewe , good lunch and a decent journey, following 90 mins of stress free football (almost).

I'm just gutted that the first game wasn't at home as I'm going to miss the next one which is. Off to Gib next week.
