Well here we go again with a game we can win but the question is will we. Fleetwood have hardly torn up trees lately and so on the form front we would be favourites if it was a home tie. They are only just above us in the points tally so there isn't much between the teams. Old Joey B has been fairly quiet for a little while so maybe this weekend he and Derek can have a discussion on football played this weekend.

So, what are our chances? I think they are quite reasonable and the team are firing on all cylinders if not all of the time some of it so why not.

The mention of Fleetwood will always now for me be linked to Toumani Diagouraga...who only played roughly three months for us...but he transformed Argyle's mid-field in that time and helped power us up the league....came as a free agent and left as one in January...going to Fleetwood....nearer home was the story....plus more money as well of course....but low and behold, was released in the summer.... and ended up at crappy Swindon in the depths of League two and has spent the last four months or so out injured.....personally a case of 'the grass isn't always greener on the other side' syndrome. He hasn't been as successful since he was at Argyle.....but of course that doesn't always matter....usually down to money, not the success of the team your in.

Derek Adams has said today (or yesterday) that only Sonny Bradley among those that have left the club has actually moved his career forward. He warns that he brings in players to suit his way of playing and thinking. Doing well here doesn't guarantee them success elsewhere.

This was in the context of questions about whether a new contract offer had been made to Reuben Lameiras. Adams can't make offers until a budget is set for next year.

The Grandstand build is holding up what monies are available for playing staff wages at the moment.

PS Saw the team coach departing the city at 12:30. Long ol' poke.

They are clearly staying overnight before the game and from a remark by a player, did so before the Sunderland game.

These are the longest trips of the season of course and it's only right they should stay over but it was only a few years ago that very long journeys were undertaken on an up-and-back basis.

I thought the majority of away games ended up with an overnight stay....the London area games generally are from what I can remember....used to stay around the Bexleyheath area for Charlton games.

When Derek Adams met PASALB on a Friday night when he first came to PAFC before his first league game.....(2-0 win at AFC Wimbledon) he had just come from the hotel.

They stay overnight before every away match. The only exceptions in recent years being Exeter, Torquay and Yeovil

Macey keeps his place with Cooper on the bench. Threlkeld was injured in training so Sarcevic starts on return from suspension.

Leaving aside GK, where Cooper is promising rather than the finished article, it's a strong looking bench: 6 Jamie Ness, 9 Ryan Taylor, 13 Paul Anderson, 20 Lloyd Jones, 23c Ashley Smith-Brown, 25 Scott Wootton

Seems a bit of an underwhelming half. Probably the weather is winning.

Both sides trying to play on atrocious weather.

Lameiras taking a battering from teenage debutant full back Rydel, who's been spoken to by the ref.

No info to pass on from Argyle fans tweeting from the game.

Either few there or wind has brought down the mobile phone masts!

1-0. Madden manages to avoid the Argyle offside trap and squares to Holt for a tap-in.

    2-0.

After a resolute performance the Argyle defence crumbles.

Songo'o went off injured. Perhaps that made the difference.
