Surely something is bound to go wrong isn't it? But what could it be. Oxford can't match our form of late but then again hardly anyone can. Following on from our last away game we played then the second in the division who are now top. We won and to be honest I had expected to get no more than a lucky point there but what do I know. Oxford always seem to be a hard one for us going on memory but that may not be accurate. I haven't looked up the history between the clubs but it is irrelevant to be fair as this is now and not a historical game. So what does the gut tell me apart from I want a packet of crisps. Can we win this one and keep this fantastic run going. I think we can because I absolutely believe that this team now fears nobody and other teams definately do fear playing us a bit. We all know the run has to come to an end is what somebody said to me on Tuesday. Well in reality we did lose one to Wigan and it came to an end then. However it also started again with the next match so stats wise our run is only 4 matches long. We can win this one and I still have a sneaking suspicion that we just might. I am away this weekend so may not know the result until Sunday. COYG
I've just looked at the history and I was right this is a hard fixture. We bleddy owe this lot as well for the 0 - 4 this season. Edwards got his red in that one which started the rot.
If this turns out to be a win, it's going to be of smash-and-grab variety. Sawyer subbed again, what's wrong with him?
Nice win but I bet Oxford really pissed not to draw at least. Playoffs looking favourable at moment. COYG.
Another great 3 points om the road in front of 1800 travelling fans. A fairly open affair which Argyle deserved to win but Oxford will be irritated with their lack of potency in front of goal. Bradley headed in just as we thought it would be 0-0 at HT and that was all the encouragement we needed.Taylor should have scored but hit the bar and Carey had one saved on the line. At other end Remi didn't really have much to do and Oxford were pretty much reduced to pot shots from distance. We missed Oscar (ill) and Zak Vyner looked rather less assured at RB than he has at CB. Everyone did okay but no-one was outstanding, and the game itself wasn't the best. But, it is five on the bounce and I reckon we are safe now.
Once again i dragged myself out of bed at 6.45am. A splash of water on the old face then make coffee. Yep the game was shown live on my laptop. So many Yellow shirts it looked like Argyle were short a few players, 45 min and Bradley heads in.. i woke the Wife up with my "Yes" word she promptly told me to go swim in the lake. But it's frozen said I. Anyway we did steal a win. Looking forward to next Sat.
I was on a coach sitting in the queue in Calais to get back into my own country which the border people seemed to want to delay as long as possible. I had however programmed another person on the coach to update me constantly with the scoreline. A resounding even louder "YES" from me BC, I don't care how they get the points as long as they get them.
