I know, it's not the real thing, but we are told that all profits will go to the NHS, so surely it is worth supporting? The quoted odds seem about right with what was being quoted before the original's abandonment - Tiger Roll is 5-1 fav - with decent odds on a few others. Max bet is £10 win or £10 ew .... I don't know if you can do multiple selections for the maximum £20 - one way to find out is try! ITV are showing the "race" at 5pm, where, they say algorythmns will be mixed with form factors to give a more of a random result. Sounds a bit like pin-sticking to me, but as said, it's in a good cause. So let's see your choices!
I think last year's virtual race had no fallers and a couple of unseats. They could make the virtual race real eventful. How about a pile up at the chair causing only 5 horses to finish? Chuck in a couple of false starts and you have us all on the edge of our seats.. What s the betting cheesy ITV won't go with any of that drama and it will be a safe computer run race?
I’ve not backed the winners of the National since Papillon in 2000, so i’m hoping for a change of luck in this Virtual National. My 3 arrows are. Walk in the Mill Magic of Light Anibale Fly Good luck fellas, hope loads is raised for the NHS
Previous "running's" of the virtual national has seen fancied horses winning Personally think with the feeling to make everyone in these horrible times " a little bit more happy" that the perfect result to do that will be a "historic" third win in a row for the Tiger! Though another good story would be the amateur David Maxwell having a good "ride" on Saint Xavier My £10 e-w is already on at 80-1..currently 66's
Key bit here is all profits. So your tenner will probably not go the NHS, but to pay for another persons winning bet.
Kimberlite Candy was going to be my bet, Total Recall Bristol De Mai I could not be more underwhelmed by a virtual GN.
My each way selections are: Any second now Magic of light I ve opted for the second one as it's a nice uplifting title and can see the computer selecting it.. Good luck all..Will help keep us entertained tomorrow not forgetting it's a great initiative.
If they are doing spread betting I'd definitely go under on the winning distance. It's bound to be a nail-bitingly close finish - maybe even a dead heat?
Maybe those that play the slot machines. Anyone who wants to support the NHS would be better off donating their stake directly. That way you guarantee how much the NHS gets and the bookies don't get a penny. Meanwhile we can have our virtual bets on this thread (nothing to do with the VBS)
Too right Nass...I m not sure why but I m getting pretty excited about this event tomorrow. No other sport of any real relevance going on right now..we are starved of that so a CGI run of the race is gonna be entertaining and bring people together. I am going each way...
