Why have we got almost 3 weeks until our next game, then somehow have to cram in 3 league games and two CL games in the fortnight following?

 

cos we need to get these important international games in where we can see if any more players can transfer covid around the world

this is the REAL game now. we've played cheslea and did ok but tuchel for whatever reason became utterly obsessed with pumping it long looking for werner. they could have hockeyed us.

We've now played since cheslea

wolves - won - zero pace upfront for wolves
Leipzig - won - zero pace up front
Fulham lost - debacle. they also had little threat up front but played the low block well.

arsenal are a whole other beast. Aubameyang's pace, saka, rowe and now they have added odegaard. This is real threat to us.

We need to come up another level against this lot.

a) if we leave the gaps in the wide channels and between midfield and defence we will be hockeyed. Wolves were in behind robertson all the first half.

b) if we get out of position v aubameyang then phillips will be burned past.

c) Arsenal can dominate possession, we imo need to thik hard about partey and targetting xhaka and rowe.

d) the weakeness in arsenal is luiz. we need ot get about him and force the error.

 

I'm scared.

Thank goodness it is away from Anfield. We’ll be fine. Arsenal tend to flatter to deceive. If you look at their recent matches, they lose when they are expected to win. And they tend to make errors in key areas. Xhaka and Luiz can be easily got at.

Arsenal results have been mixed but they have played a good few decent teams and have beaten leicester, narrow loss to city but it's hard to know which team will turn up.

Burnley took a draw, villa beat them.

The international break might favour them honestly.

Do we know which lfc players are travelling?

I know portugal have called up players but aside from that I have not really had time to see.

We should be working very hard with kabak and phillips this window but of course turkey have matches and so will have called kabak up to sit on a bench and so we miss out on this chance.
