He whinges and moans for years about someone else doing them and jumps at continuing. Plus hes a massive jinx now. 2-0 to utd.
Never whinge or moaned, said I was happy for someone else to do it. However, I'm in it for the season (plus I did today's game if you look )
1 game, 1 win and then suddenly Im dropped for the underperforming old vet who thinks he’s still got the ability to contribute.... Cant see us winning this one now.
Utd have a **** schedule, but I think they will rotate against Leicester and go full strength against us. Our complete absence of pace at the back will be out undoing
I had hoped city would have the title wrapped up now. I still think that comes into it. Utd need to win all games to catch city but **** that. Hopefully over thier two games they are assured of 4th and are out of the title. The problem is the stupid city ****s play after we do. Utd have shafted themselves and us so I have zero sympathy for them whatsoever They are going to play 3 games between now and Thursday then play sunday again. We can talk resting players all we want but utd will struggle to prepare and organise themselves. Last night we were very slow, very dull but we have to see as a team that theres a path to 4th and raise ourselves. There was no press up front, forester could drop the ball at vestergard's feet and have him lump it forward. We need to do more than that. We also need to cut out the stupidity. We twice gave Southampton scoreable chances after failing to simply clear. Just put the foot through it. Then we have a very nasty habit of getting turn the wrong way and just knocking it randomly in the middle, kota for example coughed up a chance where instead of keeping the ball wide off a throw he basically passed it to them to run on goal Most of all compared to southampton we are really slow in getting back in shape. All of the above will get eaten alive by better players. Need to raise it now or park 10men behind ball and hope for draw
Absolutely right. We have to assume that Leicester will get to 66 minimum by beating a weakened MU. I can’t see them getting anything from Chelsea and Spurs. Depends on which team Solskjaer plays against us. If it’s a weak team, we will beat them and finish on 69 points. Even a draw would be good enough with 67. A narrow defeat won’t be disastrous unless it’s by a massive amount to affect GD. I agree with most of the bookies. We are slight favourites.
Utd don't play again till Tuesday 18th and i see no reason for them to be that tired as against Leics play their second string as even if they lose it further damages our already faint chance of top 4 .
Bookies don't have an opinion. Well, they probably do - but it has nothing to do with the odds they're offering.
I said on the original thread that we never do well at old trafford. Be it the bigger pitch, or utd's type of team or just fitter faster players the results speak for themselves. We have to somehow turn that round. Even on their worst day when 3 players got injured in first half they still got a draw. A draw here will put us on the cusp, needing all wins or even europa will be tough. Quite how we can turn this round doing the same things as always i don't know. 433 with no press at all and a deep sitting back line for me doesn't make any sense to win this game. what i do know is the first real chance has to go in. We can't afford to be missing the target and letting utd off.
I wonder if putting Jones or ox in the midfield may help. We have really missed Hendersons energy in the middle, someone who can get up and down. Doesn't have to be spectacular but someone who can be a body in defence and attack. Watching thiago and wini chug round is like watching the dads against the kids
