I see the attraction as a fan of football, but not as a city supporter, without sizeable investment to make us competitive. Are Acun's pockets that deep?

    Exactly

I get why players, managers and owners want to be in the prem
They all get far more money and testing themselves against the best etc

    But as a fan
    Its ****

You get less bang for buck with seasonpass

    No chance to realistically compete
    Hammerings

Constant exposure to top 6 teams ****athons

Arsenal away (1-2), Spurs away (0-1), Man United away (4-3), Liverpool home (2-0), some of the best games I've ever been to.

The NOT wanting premier league football is a trend that is accelerating throughout Championship clubs at a fair rate of knots......VAR, the big 7, the refs. Fair Play Rules etc..etc..Ask any Sheff Utd fan they'll tell you they might win a few in the championship, but in the Premier League its backs to the wall from the word go, and its not always down to what happens on the pitch...I dare say Burnley and Luton might feel the same way..

Norwich’ll be aiming higher than Rosenior I’d guess.

All fans say that when they come down or don't go up, but I guarantee those same fans will complain if they don't get promoted and wouldn't complain if they then stayed in the prem

From a club perspective I'd always want City to be in the Prem, but from a footballing perspective I'd prefer them in the Championship as I prefer the football at that level. I said this regularly to my mate at the MKM this season and I can honestly say I'm not arsed we didn't get promoted this season.

The start to our first season was great, but we were running on adrenaline and we were soon found out.

so if it was up to you, you would reject the opportunity of promotion and stay in the Championship - if money wasnt an issue?

Sheffield United's plan was to save the money and expect relegation.

My preference would be to play in a league we can be competitive in - I'm pretty sure Sheff U, Burnley or to a lesser extent Luton have had much fun this season. If money was no issue, there's no reason that couldn't be the Prem.

Bournemouth, Brentford and Brighton have shown that by being savvy - you can compete.

Sheffield United sold players, Luton have taken money to invest in their stadium/training ground (very worthwhile) and have done alright.

Burnley I'm a bit puzzled by but they will probably go straight back up again.

Also, we might have better cup runs as a PL club, which I'm all for.

I always think about how **** the premier league is but these sort of games really do make up for it.

I agree, bollocks to nearly getting in the play offs, we beat Arsenal away, got to an FA Cup final, played in China and Europe whilst in the Premier League.
