Have been wanting them to do something simnilar for a while now; http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/130701-hornets-supporters-club-886350.aspx Before being a ST holder, this would have made it easier buying tickets to home matches! Also, any news on the away kit? Looking at the training gear (which is black, blue and white), I would take a guess that it will be red!
Forsyth has officially left the club: http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/130701-forsyth-signs-for-derby-887333.aspx Has left for an undisclosed fee. All the best to him.
Lost track of number of players we have now. http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/130701-forsyth-signs-for-derby-887333.aspx
Twitter says, so has to be taken with a pinch of salt, that he left for £150,000. Doesn't seem all that much to me...
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/10519137.Battocchio_hopes_for_Watford_return/ This seems strange as he came to us with an option to buy. Could our budget be the sticking point as I would have thought GFZ would be happy to have him?
Do we have any idea what our "budget" is? Surely we got some money in for Forsyth (150,000 if rumours are true). Obviously he'd be worth more than that, but surely we have some money from the playoffs TV and the wembley day out plus the high position?
I think that interview is a week or so old though as it looks like it is from an Italian journalist who tweeted about it last week. The pics yesterday did look like Battocchio was in Italy with the squad yesterday. Maybe they were discussing contracts when they all got back, or Zola has been given a large batch again and deciding who he wants permanent, who on loan and who to send back I do hope Battocchio is one of the ones to sign long term, along with the likes of Ekstrand, Abdi, Anya, Pudil, Neuton and one or two of the new ones sent over like Angella
Interesting tweet from Vydra: "It's going to be a damn long way for me." Seems to be showing Udinese as his destination - maybe on the way to find out what's going on with him for next season!
Hmm, just noticed that. The training camp is (I think) in Trentino Alto Adige, which is just north west of Udine.
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/10521128.Watford_set_to_sign_McGugan/ Always thought he had talent but maybe a bit of an attitude. Impressive signing nonetheless - be interesting to see who he turned down over us!
Is the part that worries me..."McGugan has been both exciting and frustrating since progressing from the Forest Academy and making his debut in 2006 but his talent is without question."
Good signing on a free it has to be said. Just lost Forsyth and we seem to be losing Eustace so we had some room opening in the Midfield. Looking at what some of the Forest fans are saying on their forum he can play a blinder on his day, but its up to that, he has to be "on it". A lot of questioning of his attitude. Maybe a fresh start will be good for him. Still think its a blinder of a signing.
On the official site now too; http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/10521128.Watford_set_to_sign_McGugan/ Hopefully Zola can work his magic on him - and if he's not performing, he will be dropped for just as good players. He will have to stay 'on it' to stay in the team

Udine is quite a nice walled town, my Dad was stationed there in the war, if its the same place. We walked around in the mid-day sun one summers day, just a few mad dogs about....
