Not sure how this was calculated but if Man. Utd players and staff are taking the train to matches in London whereas we are, apparently, flying anywhere further away than Birmingham then this does not indicate a good mindset on our part.
It seems like the club didn't bother to respond https://www.sportpositivesummit.com/epl-sustainability-table/
To be honest if they are going to give a club like us 2.5 points on something like this then they should go the whole way and give EUFA a collective minus 100. I mean making two London teams go all the way to Baku to play each other is hardly green.
Watford's Senegalese winger Ismaila Sarr was injured on international duty in an African Cup of Nations qualifier against Congo on Wednesday night. The Hornets' record signing started in the 2-0 win, but was taken off shortly after half-time with a problem believed to be with his right ankle. After a hamstring injury had kept the 21-year-old out of action for a number of weeks, he looked set to be available for the next game against Burnley. This latest setback could put that return in doubt, though it remains to be seen how serious the problem is.
No surprise to read we suffer most with injuries ! https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...three-premier-league-teams-affected-injuries/
According to the WO a few of the Under 23s have been training with the first team. "The young Hornets fielded a much changed side against the Toffees, with top-scorer Joseph Hungbo, Bayli Spencer-Adams, Cameron Green, Mason Barrett, Callum Whelan and Adam Parkes unavailable after spending time training with the first team" Probably to cover for injuries I guess! The Under 18s lost to Fleetwood on penalties in the Youth Cup - disappointing!
If you have half your 1st team squad out injured you need the u23 players to step up to make the numbers up at least so they can train properly even if they are not involved in the match.
Nigel Pearson under consideration for the WFC coach position. I would welcome that appointment, he did a great job at Leicester. Hopefully he has completed an anger management course or else he might be strangling some of our fancy dan imports!!!
Great manager tbf. If he can get Shakey and Steve Walsh to join him it would be a a real coup for you But you would need to change your model and let him build something. He isnt a quick fix man
Thanks foxy, I was impressed with Pearson the way he took defeat after the 'Deeney' playoff game between us. He must take a lot of credit for building most your title winning team.
