Watford showed lots of good things in that game at Leicester, but with some comic defending gave the home side an advantage they hardly need. Just to add to their woes further injuries occurred during the game and it becomes a real guessing game as to which players will be fit enough to start. please log in to view this image Chelsea retained their place at the top of the table despite being held to an unexpected draw by Manchester United, who appeared to be all at sea after the thumping they received from Watford. Jorginho set Man Utd on their way with an equally dreadful piece of defending shown by Watford, but saved the "Blues" blushes by stepping up to score from the penalty spot. please log in to view this image Our Officials Referee: David Coote. please log in to view this image Assistants: Stuart Burt, Nick Hopton. All we have do is attack like we know we can and defend like we know we want to With the squad we have the only limitation is ourselves Our potential is greater than possibly 50% of the Premier league along as Claudio can get the right formation and the right players reaching their own potential We have come very close a couple of times only to slip up in the next game, this is our Head Coaches mandate to achieve
It's my board game evening so will watch it on Prime the next day, if you are watching I hope it's not too painful and hopefully Duggie's wishes will come true.
Any one of you fancy a game tomorrow v Chelsea? https://www.watfordfc.com/news/team-news-watford-v-chelsea
Watford will be without Ismaila Sarr for at least a month, while Nicolas Nkoulou and Ben Foster will remain absent until the new year. Elsewhere, there is further bad news for the match against the Blues at Vicarage Road tomorrow night, with Emmanuel Dennis expected to miss out due to the knock he picked up in the 4-2 defeat away at Leicester at the weekend. Adam Masina is however expected to be available after also picking up an injury against the Foxes, while Juraj Kucka will be assessed after a minor knock to the knee kept him out of action at the King Power Stadium. Francisco Sierralta, Kwadwo Baah and Peter Etebo all remain on the touchlines as well. I expect CR70 to be applying some pressure for transfers, but the window is only open in Jan. At least, Kabasele is back, so we have 3 CBs.
Physios are going to be kept busy . Or maybe that is the issue - they don’t keep the players fit enough !?
Oh dear .. Chelsea are “struggling” too. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...atch/?action=success#comments-feedback-anchor
Not as bad as expected - Kucka on the bench and Masina/Dennis both starting. Hate to say it, but why WTE and not Kabasele?
