Did anyone see the debacle with the goal kick where it looked like we dispossessed them an FC we’re about to score and the ref blew up? I was down the other end and did not see it What happpened for them to get an uncontested drop ball
I think that may have been when their keeper made a pitiful attempt at a goal kick, which went straight to, if I remember rightly, Kone who was straight in front of him near the edge of the penalty area. Even though he looked to have been staring right at the incident, the ref claimed that he wasn't ready and made them take it again.
Watford can not be relegated with 53 points. Huddersfield have only two remaining games and their maximum possible total is 50 points. Birmingham also have only two remaining games and their maximum possible total is 52 points. Watford's goal difference is much superior to that of Sheffield Wednesday and all of the other teams below Watford in the table, but that has now become irrelevant as far as relegation is concerned because Watford's points total can not be equalled by three of the teams below them.
I understand he got in the way of their defenders too - or so was claimed! Huddersfield play Birmingham too...
I don't remember that - but I'd like to see the view of it from behind the goal again just to be sure. If he did get in their way, that surely just confirms that he's a crap referee, and it begs the question - why did the keeper take the goal kick in the first place?
I know,i know,i know but there was only one team that referee was going too allow to win and it was not us Nothing more needed
