The good thing is that we don't draw many under Ralph (only 4 this season), we either win or lose with the extra 2 points for a win making a massive difference to our points total.
Its a real anomaly. There is a stat for it, but I'm struggling to think of the category. It would be something along the lines of the away points accumulated compared with home points percentage. And we will be in the top 5% of europe's top leagues, if not higher.
That would be the icing on the cake for this season. Never had anything against Bournemouth, but after the way they celebrated at St Mary's and singing songs about the 9-0, it'd be nice to see them put back in their place
Willing Che to score. He won't get his first like that though after all this time - he did all the hard work then fluffed it at the end. I can see him scoring to put Bompey down - we all like an unlikely hero, and whilst it won't be Long v Liverpool, it will be remembered for as long by me
Not only did we score all four goals, we had all of the shots on target. Consequently, the Whoscored match report lists Watford as being "strong at finishing" because they converted 0 shots on target into 1 goal: https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1...-Premier-League-2019-2020-Watford-Southampton
How much quicker was the transition from defence to attack without PEH dithering and slowing the ball down? KWP had a good game at both ends of the pitch too Smallbone ran himself to a standstill with some good touches and an assist dépité getting a few knocks from the very physical Watford
Well, the only sure thing is that the poor home form cannot be blamed on the fans and the great away form is nothing to do with our great away support...
I have been saying it for a long time and now someone better listen. The feng shui is all out at St Mary's!
Just got back. Lol What a great away performance again. I apologise to Vesty, a superb display after being out for so long. I would have said that in defence he was nothing more than a statue that should be pulled down on today's performance he has proved me wrong. Well done lads.
Sorry, you didn't get the first goalscorer right - and considering it was the guy who's scored about 80% of our goals, I will not kneel before you.
