    Matt’s were all about placement, whereas with Rickie it was a combination of accuracy and power. As said, hard to stop even if the keeper guessed right.

    Heard a stat the other day about who had scored most PL free kicks from 2010-2019, the answer was Mata with something like 8. Seemed way too low

    So I'm willing to bet, that James is the first EPL player to score a free kick in a win against the same opposition home and away in one season.
    Can I put that in the stat thread yet, or does someone want to verify?

    I would just put it in the thread - all stats are made up and can be manipulated to prove a point anyway <laugh>

    In fact, 22.34% of facts are wrong.

    I just made that up, but I said it, wrote it on an internet forum, so it must be true.
