Not the first time Dublin has flooded in the last number of years. Wasn't somebody drowned in a basement recently. Another example of the boom time money not going on the right things.

You'd have thought the GAA would be a bit more up to speed with this.

    Has it cleared now?

I have never seen rain like that in Ireland before, it was a monsoon, there was cars floating down the road in some places and kids swimming on the streets. As far as im aware its all gone now but if it happens again later or some other day that there is a match on then there would a problem.

Cyaavan have quelled the exiles. Sounds a decent performance from the exiles. Missed a late goal chance. Cavan go up the other end and get their own. It sounded closer than the shoreline suggests.

It was level at 1-6 to 0-9 at one stage.

    Finished 1-17 to 1-8.

London have had a great year. Fair ****s.

    Mother of ****ing Christ..... Unbelievable.

    Cork win by 1.

5 down at one stage. Then 4 up. Galway could have had a penalty, the ref gave a free and Meehan smashed it in anyway to bring it back to a point.

    1-17 to 1-16..... Thank ****.

I had to laugh at Brolly yesterday after the Tyrone v Meath game, he was disgusted at Tyrones constant cynical play but they have been doing that for years now and Meath were the exact same when they were winning things so it was a strange outburst.

    Brolly is a clown.

He's a smart man. He knows he's a contradictory prick.

Raining at the home of Hurling. Big ask for the Rebels today.

    Re: Antrim game abandoned....
    Waterford 4-20

    Antrim 1-9

WATERFORD CRUISED TO a comfortable win over Antrim in today’s All-Ireland minor quarter-final in Ashbourne but the game was marred by a serious injury suffered by Antrim player Jude McCurdy in the closing stages.

There was a lengthy hold-up before the referee opted to bring the game to a premature halt after the Antrim youngster suffered a neck injury and was brought to hospital by ambulance.

And it remains to be seen whether this result will stand with Croke Park chiefs likely to convene to rule on the matter.

Patrick Curran was on fire in the first-half as he grabbed 1-5 while Michael Kearney also showed up well by landing a brace of points.
Antrim had moved into an early 0-2 to 0-0 lead but then Waterford got a grip on the game and when Curran found the net in the 14th minute, they were gone 1-4 to 0-3 clear.
Waterford continued to dominate in the second-half with Stephen Bennett firing in two goals and Patrick Curran raising his second green flag of the game.

Waterford had established a 1-11 to 0-4 lead at the interval as they sought to bounce back from their Munster minor final replay defeat to Limerick last Tuesday night in Thurles.

Clare ran away from Galway. Joe Canning still on the pitch signing autographs 20 minutes after FT. Fair play. He had a stinker.

    Limerick Vs Clare
    Cork Vs Dublin.

A Derry man with a negative opinion of a Tyrone team bit like a Dub having the blinkers on for the Royals.
