In some respects today has been great because Watford and Norwich are now goosed. However Brentford, Southampton and Brighton have moved further away from us. On the one hand its great news as 2 teams look doomed, but on the other hand we should have been in with these teams or ahead of them. Palace another team we should have been jp with or ahead of are doing great. Really hoping Marsch has his act together and got his message over to the lads with yet another extended break.. points against Palace is gold dust
Palace game might be a massive 6 pointer or it might not matter at all. It all depends on the other results.
I'd like to believe this ..... https://motleedsnews.com/news/super...on-after-sean-dyche-sacking-and-watford-loss/
Not really sure you need a supercomputer to forecast that, top 5 and bottom 6 as they are now. We could do it with a few rounds an empty fag packet and a pencil.
Aye, but it's reassuring to see that those that hate Leeds think the same (All press hate Leeds imo!).
All this talk about Super Computers etc, I used guesswork back on Feb 16 thread, and it doesn't look much different to this "Super Computers" guesses, although massively out with Brentford and Everton so far https://www.not606.com/threads/the-lufc-breakfast-debate-wednesday-16th-february.398955/page-2
I think we are good as safe now. Burnley have to play premier league title football now to the end of the season. To catch us they probably need 5 wins from 8 games at the moment they have only managed 4 wins from 30. It's not impossible but very very unlikely. As on everyone out on loan nobody is making headlines and that's in the lower leagues so I don't see any taking spots in our team next season. Same with the under 23's I've watched quite a few games this season and very few are ready to break into the first team as of yet. Plenty potential there but most are nowhere near being premier league footballers yet apart from the obvious ones. Like we all know very few will make it but there are signs one or two will. I think next season we have to concentrate on first team players because this season we are looking like we are going to scrape through. Injuries or not there is a good 4-5 players not good enough at this level to be in our starting eleven.
Burnley are a boring team of thugs and their now sacked leader was a nasty, bullying, whinging, scumbag.
Agreed but played to their strength they don’t try to go toe to toe with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester and get stuffed by several goals. I do wonder how they would have faired with the same transfer budget that we’ve spent for the the past two seasons In an ideal world I’d have liked Lampard and Everton to have finished below them. It’s also hard to dislike them as much without Dyche
