He'll come here, be a quiet, integral cog to 10 years of unimaginable glory, then **** off back to Scunny for a bit only to see Michael get the job a couple of years after his departure. This is a good move though. Daws is about as respected a pro as the club has had in the past 20 years or so. He loves City too. Interesting that his lad - a City fan - has just broken into the Scunny side...
“I’m really excited to be back. I have amazing memories and it is a bit surreal to be back. I can’t wait to get started with the young players and help build on the great job Jon (Beale) and everyone has done at the Academy."
That was my thinking Tigerned! Brilliant news, a true professional and an altogether good guy on and off the pitch. Wonder if McCann is feeling any heat, quite possibly our next Manager in the building, waiting in the wings.
Think I've got something in my eye... Absolutely brilliant news. Welcome home, Sir Dawson. Genuinely choked
Great news for the club. The only shame is there were not 11 Dawson’s and we could play them all together. Never left anything out there on the pitch and should coach the full backs on how it should be done. Get Rosy back in and there would be a good pair waiting in the wings.
Doesn't seem five minutes since I was wishing him well and shaking his hand as he walked to the front doors of the KC for his testimonial match. Ten years of model professionalism in four divisions - welcome home Andy Dawson!
