I’ll pay the train fare to take Flint, Paterson, and Pack to Middlesbrough

I wouldn't mind betting he'd take Danny Ward in a heartbeat on a free if we don't make the lad a serious new offer.

Perhaps he'll fancy Vassell as well?....<whistle>

Paterson is a very useful Championship player.

Id say theres no chance of him signing those mentioned other than Ward.

I cant see us getting fees for Pack Flint or Glatzel. We will have to give them frees and even then theres the wages.

Bit harsh on Glatzel there Hilts. I still think he'll do well as our style continues to evolve.

Would happily lose Pack and Flint though.

I DO see why Pack was brought in and what he can provide but just feel we need a bit more dynamism and energy in his position.
Flint has never really convinced apart from one or two games under Warnock.
Think he'd be a solid enough Championship defender if he could get a run in a team but think he is our 4th choice now and would be too expensive to keep hold of.

Think Cunningham will get a few games next season.
    Definitely need a right back.
Definitely need at least one striker or two if Ward goes.
Need a back up for Tomlin.
Should take a punt on a younger, cheapish winger from somewhere.

If we get a decent offer for Etheridge then I'd let him go and we stick with Smithies and Day (we did only loan him out didn't we?).

Sorry Brizzle. Glatzel is not good enough.

Cut our losses give him a free.

Paterson IMO is a one trick pony who has gone backwards since our promotion season. City need someone with a lot more finesse and skill than his lumbering shortcomings.

I read Etheridge is going abroad somewhere.
City took a punt on a young winger this season (Whyte) but Harris doesn’t seem keen on him.
    Ward definitely should stay.
Paterson & Pack with Flint taxi time.
Hoilett? Maybe his time is up?
Definitely need some more pacy and direct central midfielders.
Glatzel not for me. The Keifer Moore rumours have again arisen today.

    Do you mean Joe Day?

Joe and Fred Davies were champion snooker playing brothers from the 50's and 60's.

Did they ever play in goal? I don't know.

This is pretty much what every BCFC fan thought of him. Most of us still can't believe we got £4m off you for him<laugh><laugh>
Good luck trying to recover that!

You didn't. It was less than a mill up front.

The balance of the alleged 4 mill was to be in installments and dependent upon results, paricularly promotion.

If we'd got through last night you may have got some more money...<laugh><laugh>

    Sparkey,
I'd rather take the financial hit than a chance that Brentford had an off day and you sneaked back into the Premiership<laugh><laugh>

To be fair, you gave it a good go in the second half last night.

Yes supcon - I thought we gave it good shot. Paid the price for an off colour first leg.

At least it would have been a back door to the Prem for us rather than a trap door to League One for you the way you're playing....<laugh>

Bit unfair Sparks. They still have to decide on their new manager.

It appears Hughton has been interviewed but has been kept waiting by the door for a decision.

Cook from Wigan was a strong tip yesterday.

LJ's assistant, Holden is in the frame.

Alex Neil was the bookies favourite yesterday.

Taking as long to resolve as a TV soap plot.
