We will either be smiling on Saturday evening or in the depths of despair....

I have confidence that Carlos can engineer a result, I'm sure he will be impressing on the minds of the players the significance of this fixture, and it's pivotal contribution to our quest for survival, any player that does not put in a credible blinder of a shift, should be shot at dawn!.........:1980_boogie_down:

I'll pull the trigger on any lazy bugger.......<laugh>

To be honest i have more hope than confidence in Carlos. He is like most new managers when they take over they have a few good games and that stems from the players wanting to impress but these past few games i have not been impressed at all with Carlos or the players... I am hoping we get the 3 points that we are more than capable of but we have to go forward more than we have been doing as you cant win games in your own half....If we win i think we are almost safe but if we lose i fear we wont win another game.....

We have achieved nothing yet, even after that fine run of points gained. If the players keep on playing as they have done last few matches we are in trouble.
You’d swear that they’d been told to go out and not get injured with the lack of tackling by some. The Spurs match and first half last Sat we were awful and the hope is that we’ll put in more effort and commitment against West Brom.
Jordan Ayew’s three match ban has been a big blow to us, we look blunt up front without him and have not scored a goal since March 3rd at home to West Ham.
With Clucas injured and Ki dreaming of Milan, we are running out of midfield options, where is Britton, not seen in the video clip of training yesterday, is he still injured?

Leon is past it now and could go at the end of the season. The premiership is too much for him and that is to be expected. He has done his job and done it well but as we have seen no manager will select him now and he knows it....

Regrettably I have to agree with you and frankly even at this stage of the season I would rather see one of the under 23's given a chance.

Leon needs to think about his future now and put himself on the market for a Managers/coaching job in the lower leagues somewhere and build his repetition up. Staying with the swans is not going to get him anywhere and the club don't want to pay his sort of wage for nothing and he is worth more than visiting schools and opening shops.

    Wales Online:

It looks like Carlos Carvalhal is putting at least a substantial portion of meat on the barbecue for this one.

Tammy Abraham, who showed glimpses of what he’s capable of during his short second-half cameo in the defeat at Manchester United is given the nod here and looks to be partnering Andre Ayew up front.

With West Brom coming into this game having lost their last eight Premier League outings, it looks like Swansea are looking to take advantage.

    Fabianski
    Naughton
    Van der Hoorn
    Fernandez
    Mawson
    Olsson
    Carroll
    King
    Clucas
    Ayew (Andre)

Need to win this game, feeling confident about it too.

@Stereo get your arse on here and say this 'has 0-0 all over it' :)

    Is Dyer on the bench?

We need some pace out wide. Far too negative atm.

Bang on. Our midfield need 3 or4 touches before passing the ball. Far too ponderous and slow on the ball.

Christ we have been worse than useless in the final third. No attacking intent.
