Yeah, I was just frustrated at the time. The match had just finished and it was announced on TV that nearly half of them had left before the end. Only 2-0 and an away game, couldn't believe it. Why would you spend all that money and travel all that way, just to leave after 70 minutes? Forums and being out of the way of the football club, should be places for supporters to vent. I've never known any footballer to respond in a positive way to loads of people hurling abuse at them.
Impressed with George Honeyman today. Worked his arse off. And Jason Denayer took one in the plums for the team.
Retrospective ban for Papy (just seen it on MotD) surely but the thing that always disappoints me is Moyes comments. **** like 'we're doing alright and only 3 points off where we'd expect to be' just doesn't resonate well. Burnley, Boro and Bournemouth are all 5-10 points ahead of where Sunderland are and he just seems to propagate the idea that you simply can't compete with them. I don't like it, I used to like Moyes and thought he'd be good for you, I'm not yet convinced he wont be as you're not far from safety but I hate his interviews.
Match of the Day are doing their best to get Djilobodji banned. Slow motion close up played back twice - just in case the FA missed it. What a t**t Shearer is.
'We are conceding goals at the moment and doing everything we can to eradicate it, but it's like a disease' 'If we had three points more we'd be saying well that's where we expect Sunderland to be anyway' Just **** off, Moyes.
May well be the case but I don't see that there was any chance he was going to get away with that. Brainless thing to do and only really the player to blame.
If you're going to twat people in the face you deserve a ban. Show it as many times as they like, he deserves it.
Disagree with all of that, mate. Papy has got himself banned, it's the pundits jobs to review it. I also think Shearer is unbelievably fair with us on the TV.
He doesn't have to be Mr fake positivity but his miserable 'realistic' attitude is wearing thin. The fans won't like it, will the players (including potential signings)? I doubt it.
Allardyce is dour but at least musters a "if the players believe like I do then we'll be fine". Moyes has said from day 1 that you are in a relegation fight, has he ever said it was a fight he thought you were going to win? Maybe he has, I honestly don't know.
It might well be, he's a decent passer albeit a bit of a strange technique with a heavy slice but he's a rabbit in the headlights at the back more often than not. If we're seriously trying to buy a midfielder for 17 mil and we're not looking at Jakielka for a few mil then we're idiots. Bod should be backup at best. If only we'd got someone good for the money we spent on him.
He didn't join us last season because he didn't think we had a chance of staying up. After 2 games we were in a relegation battle. He's not stopped being miserable since. I think the bloke needs to see a doctor for some 'pick me up' pills.
