We're having a go apparently, but we just don't have anything approaching their class.

The guy Haller who has scored the two WHU goals - I read he cost £45m
That's just £5m less than Roland wanted for the whole of CAFC: lock, stock & barrel. And about £15m more than we're actually worth.

Good luck to the Addicks tonight, but in terms of what money can buy West Ham are on a different planet.

Someone worked out their starting 11 cost £181m, ours just the 200k we paid for Bonne. Really did not care about tonight, I was surprised there weren’t more changes

    I agree.

Lee Bowyer put out pretty much the strongest side he could, from very limited options.
They are doing themselves proud against a badly managed team of much better individual players.

God forbid, but West Ham could do a lot worse than offer Lee Bowyer the manager's job.
Moyes is useless. I'm amazed he has been given so many chances to prove as much.

Thankfully no one in the premier league would dream of offering a league 1 manager a job

    3-0 now.

The lads gave it a good go.
If our injury luck is not too awful we should be able to avoid the L1 danger zone for a while.

Bigger worry now is administration, if that toss-pot Elliott can continue to hold off the Sandgaard take-over.
Wages are only covered until the end of October, so I read a while ago.

Current thinking however is that the take-over is a done deal, and we're just waiting on those masters of red tape, the EFL...
    God help us.
