I find different people's theories on what makes a good coach fascinating. There’s barely a coach in football who hasn’t had good seasons and poor seasons.

Rodger’s has a good rep as a coach - but Leicester were poor and a bit lucky last year… and he’s relegated them this year. Is he a busted flush? Or if you stay around football long enough in competitive leagues is it just inevitable?

 

TBF, a lot of the 'give it to Gnonto' mentality came from the players, who'd pass it to him even when he was doubled up on by defenders and then the rest of the team would stand and watch what happened.
My other take out from yesterday was the number of times Bamford got the ball or held it up - ditto the rest of the season - and there was no one to lay it off to (the first goal v Newcastle excepted, though in that case he was on the left wing and not in the centre). Where were the runners in support? Chimes with Bills comments that the team were running out of steam.
