I really fancy our chances against them, even without our potential new signings!

Their defence is suspect, which is very unusual for a Liverpool team and I don't rate some of their midfield either. Lucas in particular is not a good player, but for some reason he makes the team, week in, week out. I also think that Maxi Rodriguez (spelling!) who used to be an excellent winger, is not the player he once was. Gerrard has been in and out of the team all season with injuries. Kyut has definately lost some of his pace and Torres is a shadow of his former self and looks so depressed. I think he has issues that we, the public, are not aware of, so maybe we will find he is gone from Liverpool by 11pm Monday night.

The Liverpool squad needs a big clear out and rebuild that is not going to happen in this transfer window, so IMO they are there for the taking ;)

Totally agree mate, a win would go a long way to keeping them at arms length, and i think we'll go for it.

Torres saying he wants to go WILL rock the boat, Kenny must be pullingnhis barnet out at the timing

Cheers Beak. It's looking very likely that Torres will do a DB, so Kenny is going to be feeling like Steve Bruce did.....like he'd just been kicked in the gonads :)

For all Suarez is quality, i would love to see him here, he's just not Torres.

Torres is going to leave a HUGE hole, no 2 ways about it.

Agreed. The heads will go down, or they will come out fighting like our boys did against Pool. I'm not sure that some of their players have the fighting spirit of our team, so it's heads down for me ;)

I think we need to beat them to shut them up about the frigging beach ball.

They seem to overlook the fact that we battered them for most of the game, i have no doubt we'd have scored at some point either way.

We were robbed at Anfield as well, i'm boldly predictiong a 2-0, with or without the new lads.

Yeah, you're right about the beachball game, we were all over them like a rash. Liverpool always seem to come up with a goal from somewhere, probably an OG off Ferdinand <doh> I predict 3-1 to the boys :1980_boogie_down:

I'm sticking with 2-0, i just see nothing in that side, nothing at all.

I will say it's a great shame, because Liverpool are a great club, and for all they have their share of dickhead fans, they also have a huge amount of supporters who don't just support their club, they worship it.

They'll always have my respect for that.

That Poulsen is pony too, he neither creates nor tackles......He makes Jeff Whitley look like Zidane!

    That aside his hairs nice.

The beach ball goal was quality. Funniest thing I've witnessed in years of watching footy. About time we turned over those scouse gits....
