So, we've got Manga in now, and he's had a window to operate.

He knows the league a bit better now, also we have VI in place early.

Is it going to be a big clear out window? Or more frugal dealings with some squad prunings?

What do you think we need to be competitive (i.e promotion / play offs) next season?

It's a big summer ahead, or we will become bog standard Championship at best once again.

A large laxative might do the trick - although some of the problems have already been flushed - and a captain with 'presence' would be a start.

I can't help but remember the difference Pat Rice made when we signed him - I wonder if there's anyone of that ilk being released by a Premiership club?

It's never going tob e the full revamp needed, is it?

I might ahve to stop hoping and just look at the squad just before the season starts!

Even though, transfers can still happen after the season starts! Mind boggling, but $ moves it all I guess.

Watford need to figure out how they want to play football over the long-term, and what sort of players they need to fit that model, and what players they currently have that don't fit that model, and therefore what holes exist to be filled. I think the biggest failing over the past few seasons is that the sporting directors haven't seemingly had a sense of the long-term model, so we don't have a cohesive team and coaching set-up which survives coaches and players coming and going.

Players that actually stay fit and are suited to the league!

Not just getting in new ones to do someone a favour.
