    If we're selling the naming right to the stadium, what else could we sell?

    Nets on the goals?
    Posts & Crossbar?
    Ball?
    Players names?

    Suggestions?

    If your ideas are good (and controversial) enough they may well be taken up!!

    I can definitely imagine a half time ad break and plenty of clubs already have player/ball/match sponsors.

    We do have player, match, ball and dressing room sponsors and we've had most of them since I started going to matches two decades ago. Plus we had sports direct tannoy ads a few times last season, notably just after Hughtons sacking...

    Thats part of the Test Match sponsor, ie whenever there is a test match England it is npower as they sponsor England's home test matches.

    idea 1
    split the game into 4 halves call them quarters sell advertising to TV companies for each quarter thus making a 90min game 3 hrs long which in turn means more cash spent by fans on drink food etc.

    idea 2

    sell the franchise to other towns/cities without major football clubs depending on which city/town pays the most for this franchise including new stadium

    in short follow the Yankee route

    This is genius!!! Loving it, we could also have mobile venders on the terraces so we could buy snacks and merchandise.

    Further more we could have different shirts for each of these quarters each with differing sponsors. Collar, short and socks sponsorship all up fo grabs too!

    There was a class Bud advert suggesting something similar to this. Like injury time multi-ball <laugh> Can't find it anywhere though.
