Love them, price is just starting to come down now as well - first lot are always expensive.

Bonkers that a filled jacket potato is now accepted as about £5 a pop.

That Spudguy bloke got a lot to answer for!

It had a very decent serving of pork with stuffing underneath. I thought a fiver was pretty good considering people buy a **** meal deal as standard for £3.50 or whatever it is now.

I'd happily pay a fiver for that. Looks amazing.

Sort of price I’d expect to pay in some yokel shop in Somerset but everything here is basically London prices now. I’ve started getting meat from there and it’s cheaper than Waitrose. The place is heaving every day so it shows it can be done still while loads of businesses here, even reasonably busy ones, are going bust.

Went to the butcher again for a jacket potato with a whole chicken breast, barbecue sauce and salad.

Also had a pulled pork baguette which was massive.

At least the food in Italy is notoriously poor so I won’t be eating a lot.

My turn for salad boxes back end of this week.

Grilled some seasoned chicken wrapped in bacon. 1 breast a box. Baked some cubes of halloumi. Spinach, peppers, finely sliced spring onions, beetroot, chilli and garlic olives and a little bit of coleslaw.

    Lovely.

Think I'll do some pizzas Sunday. Old faithful steak pad thai tonight.

Away with the Mrs and some mates at a place called the Crab and Lobster, near Thirsk tomorrow. Meant to be amazing but I've never been. Sure we'll upset some of the other guests...

Not sure they're going to appreciate us sitting up and keeping the bar open while we watch the boxing on the ipad... Not sure our wives will appreciate it either, but meh.

The gaffer took me out for brunch/lunch at a new local place. Was okay. Nice of her to pay for something.

Be nicer if they cooked the bacon and got rid of the hub cap.
