Penalty and dismissal for me too. Mr Atkinson disagreed. Did you watch the SBS full match coverage? Both pundits( Foster and Bridges) said the no penalty decision was laughable.
Seem to be scrabbling initiated by both and then Bamford just flops to the floor. Commentators agreed that he tried to buy it, and they started grappling outside the box anyway so wouldn't even be a pen if it was a foul.
While on the Liverpool theme how many do you think will be at at the Sydney v Liverpool friendly this Wednesday evening? Will be interesting to see how many players who played for Liverpool yesterday will be involved in this one.
Still can't get my head around the short turn around time for Liverpool. We were joking last night about what would have happened had Liverpool had to do that play off game with Arsenal.
Am going with my wife who supports Liverpool. We went to their last friendly in Melbourne a few years ago which attracted 90,000 at the MCG.
It's amazing that they did. Usually pundits and commentators battle each other to fawn over them in any way possible. I ****ing despise that club like in every way.
You have to question what sort of man thinks like this? It's like someone planning their own surprise birthday party.
No matter what we think, he's been one of the best defenders from the last 20 years. Just a shame he's a self-entitled clown shoe.
It's massively different, they're not even in the same stratosphere. I'm as against the sanitising of football stadia as anyone but I really don't see an issue in applauding an opponent who has performed exceptionally. When Real Madrid fans gave a standing ovation to Maradona or Messi it's seen around the world as great sporting appreciation. Why is this different?
Correct, passed a group of six with spur's scarves on, going into the lower west stand, got the impression that the stewards had been told to let them in the home section or they couldn't be arsed to do there job, but none were stopped.
