Looking at the bloke's achievements and contribution to society it will be interesting to see how this pans out, especially thinking of those who raised the complaints and why.
it will certainly be interesting. kids making **** up, or another case of some horrible bastard abusing their positions of trust. very sadly, it seems that those in such positions when it comes to kids , esp kids needing care, are some of the worst culprits of abuse. as for the pasties....the Mags can 'ave em
We had a metalwork teacher at our school in Gateshead in the late 70s who was an absolute bully. Fair do's, he didn't grope anyone's bollox but the sinister **** did abuse his position by slapping and physically assaulting young kids in his class. Yes, sadly, this was common at the time and dealing with schoolkids can be a taxing experience but this moron went way beyond what was the 'norm' even at that time. He was a famous name in kayaking. When he died a few years ago his obituary on the kayaking website was flooded by stories from former pupils. The kayaking community seemed unaware of his bullying past until they were put right by people who I grew up with, went to school with and who I trust. I wonder how many other old perverts/abusers/bullies are out there?
