Lee Hodson's Partick Thistle in a high scoring play-off semi final first leg against Queens Park tonight. Lee came on as sub in the 76th minute with his side leading 3-1 - a few minutes later a massive deflection off his head made the score 3-2. QP equalised four minutes later but Thistle scored in the 98th minute to win 4-3. Quite an enjoyable match to watch really - will be watching the second leg on Friday.
Malky Mackay's Ross County took a huge step towards retaining their top flight status with a 3-1 win away to Dundee United - pushed Dundee United to bottom.
Theo Robinson on BT Sport - playing for Brackley Town in their play-off match against Kidderminster Harriers.
Oxford City, who have just got promoted to the National League at St Alban's expense, are coached by Ross Jenkins (jr).
Amazingly still only 32 too. Was a first team regular as a 17/18 year old before drifting into obscurity - injury prone from memory. Maybe we should recommend him to Gino as a young, up and coming British coach?
I am not sure Jenkins is a fan of the Pozzos. But people can change over the years . https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...not-given-a-fair-chance-after-pozzo-takeover/
His playing record with Watford suggests that he shouldn't be too keen on Sean Dyche either - he was used rather sparingly by him.
You're probably right. The first, and only, time I saw him play 'in the flesh' was against Doncaster at the start of the 2009/10 season. We had just signed Scott Severin from Aberdeen and they played together in midfield - I couldn't believe what I was hearing from the fans in the Rookery, hurling abuse at Severin for being constantly caught out of position, when all he was doing was trying to cover for Jenkins who was missing in action for virtually the whole game.
Reminder this guy ? Been named the new manager of Walsall . https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65637292
