    Watching the Arsenal v Olympiacos game has me marvelling at the fitness of Jose Holebas - he's been playing like someone 15 years his junior. Such a shame he left...

    He'll need it. What they're looking for is a manager who can go to Glasgow and beat Celtic & Rangers - what they forget is that they'll also need the players who can do that, but they don't have the money for that. As an example, a couple of years ago they lost arguably their best player - Adam Rooney - because they couldn't compete with the money being offered to him...by Salford City. £3k per week.

    Just as an aside, the owners of Sheffield Utd. have just bought my local team Chateauroux. Some of the fans here have pointed to Sheffield and pointed out that if people expect investment they will be disappointed.
