Down in Kent for a wedding reception (not my own). Hopefully the carnage from that earthquake has cleared up by tomorrow afternoon.
Well, I shall be mostly ( Harry Enfield I think? ) be working Monday morning. Boo. That said it's the easiest " job " in the world, and I get paid double to sit there and do very little. Hell, I may even log onto Not606 and type to you wonderful people. However, Tuesday I'm off to Warsaw. Staying until Friday, going to the Europa League final. Tickets are still available on Uefa if anyone is bored next week. Was thinking of who to take with me - then in light of nan dying " MUM, you're coming with me to Warsaw until Friday " - couldn't think of anyone better to take. Her looking uncomfortable during the footy with Ukrainian and Spanish nutters should be priceless!
It was Mark Williams on the 'fast show' Jesses obsessions ' this week I have been mostly eating taramasalata'....
Good one Westy I hope you and your Mum have some fun in Warsaw, try Bison vodka but steer clear of the sausage, that doesn't sound quite right! Have a goodun.
Classic from my missus a few years back when the footie results were being read out: Radio announcer: "so and so 1 ,Walsall 0" Her:"I didn't know Polish sides played in the FA Cup" Me:
Memorial weekend here in the states and my wife's birthday on Monday too. Her choice what we get up to obviously, probably some street fair today and something different Monday. Working Sunday, I have a big show to set for next week. Rolling Stones are playing at the Padres baseball stadium on Sunday (which the hotel I work at is connected to with a sky bridge). Tickets were ridiculous expensive for their 100th farewell tour but I may be able to watch some from the roof of the hotel.
Guess where Ms Smith and Mr Fry are off too this Bank Holiday Monday ? please log in to view this image
Fry has lost a bit of weight by the looks of things........... Those dolls are realistic. .......even down to the Norfolk trotters.......
Well boys you will be pleased to know that I am back to civilisation! Mind you there isn't much wrong with Cromer I found it most agreeable but Southwold and Aldeburgh both beat it hands down!
Spookily enough I did stop off for petrol at ASDA this afternoon but I guess that's not quite Whitton enough!
