Who to go?

All speculation of course but if we were to sign another six players added to Wood and Trippier and the return of Matty who will be in line to go? Nine needed.
My guesses (including loans):-

I think if we get someone like Lingard then Miggy could be on his way out, it’s clear Howe doesn’t rate him and I wouldn’t be too upset if he left, he never really did it for me, great attitude but you need more than that.

 

Matty will go out on loan I think. Schar should be kept. Not too fussed on the rest, I'd keep Woodman over Darlow unless Woodman goes out on loan. Fernandez might go maybe?

 

Gayle, Hendrick and Kraft (who we now have more cover for) are easy choices tbh. I can see a couple going out on loan (M Longstaff and Woodman).

After that then it's dependent on who comes in. Like-for-like removals surely? Personally I think it's a shame Miggy doesn't get a look in, off the bench I think he's a great option for us as he stretches teams but if we get in a winger then it's him, Ritchie or Murphy out the door.

 

Definitely not schar but he’s the only one is keep off that list like.

 

Was only thinking that he’s out of contract at the end of the season and if we get 2 new cb’s

 

Woodman - loan unless he’s had enough
Krafth - maybe but Manquillo is injured a lot
Clark - couldn’t see it unless they sign two due to Fernandez fitness issues and Lascelles injury
Ritchie - possibly as not getting a look in
S.Longstaff - too thin in there he will stay
M.Longstaff - loan
Gayle - defo as Howe is not keen
Hendrick - yep same reasons
Schar - Nah Howe likes him and he likes to play out so Schar is favoured I would think
Anderson - loan
Lewis - might get loaned out if we sign one as noted how quick he’s gone to Dummett

 

Don’t forget potentially 9 might need to go and Anderson and White don’t count as under 21 anyway

 

It’ll depend on signings and how bad Joe’s and Lascelles injuries are. We can’t afford to carry folk in the hope they return.

I think Lewis, Woodman, Hendrick, Gayle, M Longstaff, Ritchie, maybe Clark for pissing him off if we get two centre backs. I could see Lascelles or Fernandez getting de registered if we get two. Kraft maybe but it’s risky cause Manq pulls up a lot.

 

Maybe Darlow or Gillespie cause they have Langley.

 

Has Schar been offered a new contract? I'd keep him beyond the summer

 

Not sure. I doubt it though. If we stay up I think we may see some serious changes in the summer. Very different market for us and he won’t accept second fiddle at this stage of his career unless of course the money is astronomical.

I think he should keep Schar and Almiron to see how they fit in with better players

Also think he will keep S. Longstaff, Murphy and Lascelles to see if their careers can be revived if they can be developed and get their confidence back - but they won't have long if they don't.

 

Krafth - 2 rb's in Trips and Manquillo mean he's redundant
Clark - Any incoming CB and he is first to go
Ritchie - past it now - need a new young winger (Lingard would spell the end)
Gillespie - Dubz, Woodman and Darlow ahead of him in the pecking order
M.Longstaff - needs a loan spell at a championship club - why he went to Scotland I'll never know?
Gayle - Wood is his replacement so doubt we will see him again
Hendrick - Joelinton, SLongstaff, Shelvey, Willock, Hayden, Miggy all ahead to get into a midfield 3

 

We need shot of Murphy, I forgot about him. He’s ****e and not good enough.

 

Matty will be lucky to get a loan to a Championship club, he's been linked with Carlisle and another l2 side

 

Almiron.

He's not made for the PL. I don't see where he fits in apart from covering as a left sided defensive grafter.

Get rid.

Need to lose 2 at least, possibly (probably) more. Woodman/Gillespie likely to be one I'd guess - who's the other so far? who's next on the list?
