It is legal but immoral and hypocritical when it concerns someone who resides on the moral high ground.

If we had a media that did its job instead of being lefty liberal, the scam would have been highlighted and he would have been shamed. But our media overlook a tax scam because his charity takes a swipe at Boris.

That's what I did too when I was contracting. Even put the kids comics through on expenses. Regular Directors meetings were always in a restaurant, and many 'weekends away' to 'seek out new opportunities'. Didn't take the piss like my mate, who always had his AGM in Tenerife. Ah, those were the days! :D

Tax avoidance is legal. My financial advisor, a grand title for someone who does my tax returns, gives me advice as to how I can minimise my tax burden. Why should I pay more than I have to, would you? So as I minimise my tax I'm not allowed an opinion, he never told me that!! but then again I don't get the same sky, bbc exposure here so I'm not sure how close a comparison is made between Rashford and Mother Teresa.

Of course you like Rashford are allowed an opinion, no matter how hypocritical it was.

I don't get to see the later day saint on a regular basis so I don't know what sort of pedestal he puts himself on, or more likely the media put him on just so they can knock him off it when they get fed up of him, but I understand exactly what you mean

It's funny you should mention Mother Teresa. I've read accounts that she wasn't all her public profile suggested she was. Apparently, she disapproved of pain killers, as she believed that pain brought you closer to God!!! A shocking approach that I'm told is well documented if you go look for it (I haven't). There is also the question of where the money went that was provided to buy painkillers etc. Look no further than the Vatican for that one.

Did a quick Google on 'mother teresa pain', & this was the first link to pop up .....

See what I mean about the media putting you on a pedestal. I didn't realise that about Mother Teresa though but then again nothing would surprise me about the Catholic Church?

I'm not saying Everton are thieves but Tobes 1st prize in the local pub quiz is an alibi.
