Agreed. In fact, I think there may have been more chances for us if they kept 11 on the park. They just went into park the bus mode. We really were class today. Btw, did anyone see the first yellow that the red carder got? I didn't think that his second yellow was warranted. Very poor ref imo - for both teams.
I didn’t see the first yellow, but I thought the second one was definitely warranted imo especially when you compare it with challenges by Phillips and Berardi in recent games which saw red. Makes a change for it to happen to the oppo
TBH, I didn't get the best view for the first half. I had the laptop upended to watch a recording from someone's phone lying the wrong way, so the screen was small & blurry, & the commentary was tinny & distant "as he had 2 young kids asleep" Would love to see it in proper mode, so hoping it's shown in detail on Quest tonight at 9pm, or Sky tomorrow at 16:45. The second half he disappeared (guessing the kids woke up), so I ended up with a brilliant stream for the second half. Leeds Media on FB put up quite a few good links, every match. I usually choose the one with most viewers, although even they struggled to have them for the first half today.
I actually thought he got studs on both Bamford’s legs, never mind one. https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/11787625/wigan-0-2-leeds
I was watching the same **** stream as you absolutely terrible but I did see the sending off offence. The guy on there said Wigan were down to ten men about two minutes before the incident came on screen so I was ready for it
The best thing about the quality of the current match day squad of 18 is that Clarke can’t get in it. Couldn’t believe his “it was inevitable I’d move on from Leeds eventually” comment. Well son you can’t get anywhere near starting a league game, so it looks like you’re not as good as you think you are.
Best players so far this season after 3 league games Kiko Bamford Forshaw Harrison Which to me looks a bit like having 4 new players and keeping out Fast Eddy and Costa. Yes Pablo and Phillips have been great but the above 4 take stick...
i never thought he was hence my comment about it being a good sale at the time.hes just part of the homegrown quota prem clubs have to have on there books.prem clubs look on them as a cheaper option and pay in dribs and drabs.
Ok so i have a question. Can anyone give me the stats on our wingers and what they have provided so far. As you know im not that sold on harrison. Now my reasoning is hes is slow so the attackers hold back waiting for his usual delivery. But can anyone give me reason to change my views.
Harrison was the main man today, so important we keep him fit. Absolute quality. Really don’t know how much more he can do to get you onside.
Yup, Bielsa picks him. Sounds like a harsh reply, and it's not meant to be (unusually for me! ), but ask Pontus or Roofe what happens if you don't do Bielsa's bidding.
Aye, a wee bit of a struggle. Wish I'd been there. Only managed 3 games last season. Won 2, drew 1. And yet we stood the chance of being relegated for the second season in a row right up until the last game! Not many Jags supporters about these days. They account for 90% of all heart attacks in Scotland.
Oh, they do! Believe me. It's the 96th minute losers that kill you. Thought it was going to go to penalties. Phew!
Eddie Gray was the slowest winger in the world, it was slow motion compared to George Best but sheer poetry in motion to watch. Harrison has pace but not blistering but he has close ball control and his only failing for me has been end product, as he has attempts on goal but misses the target too much and his final ball can be improved. This season he is our most threatening player
I'll happily admit that I sighed out loud when we signed Harrison on loan. I remember saying to my pal at work that he had to do something special to win me over. So far he is winning me over! Happy to be proved wrong. Let's hope he keeps it up!
