Nobody, but the rumour is that Brighton want Buckley and one other, and with the Stephenson connection, that could be Cowie...
That's an extrapolation of the Graham situation by the way, not a real bid, in case you were worried!
I may be a loan voice on this but (depending on if there is a sell-on fee to Rochdale and how much it is) I would gladly take £750K for Buckley. He wasn't what I would call a regular (he played less minutes than McGinn) and was acknowledged by the back room staff as not having the stamina to see games out, hence him getting subbed around the 70 min mark. His stats for the season were 4 goals and 4 assists. Cowie would be a far bigger loss.
Yes therewas a clause for Rochdale ,but i dont remember how much! If H is right we get 1M for him less any payments to rochdale! Cowie is one that is very important to keep , but stephenson knows the prices required to buy our players! and at the moment they seem to be going for a fagpacket and a stick of gum!!!
Well surely the fee to Rochdale won't be more than 25% so a £1m bid equals £750K; I'd take it on the proviso that that amount plus Graham means no more need to sell this Summer.
If Brighton are after one more, my guess is they'll get them, if that's Cowie, that's a really huge loss...
Hopefully the sale of DG will enable the club to suggest they don't need to sell anyone else - at the very least they should now be able to hold on price for any other sales.
I think if Buckley went we'd be ok but is worrying we still need to find money to become stable. Afterall there aren''t too many realy sellable assets left!
