From what I've seen of all three and reports of Dieng from last season. Don't really rate Kelly or Lumley.
From Warburton's post match interview it sounds like there's a fair bit going on behind the scenes. I hope for the lad's sake he makes the right choice and isn't swayed by agents etc. I'd hate to lose him, only to see him sat on the bench at, say, Spurs.
I quite liked our starting X1 yesterday. If we lose Eze (inevitable) but keep Manning and BOS on longer contracts then I would be reasonably happy. Eze is brilliant, we all know that, but as when we had Adel these players are a luxury and often a team will lack balance because they are being accommodated for. Also players get shunted out of position. Chair needs to be playing in a central attacking midfielder role if he is to reach his full potential. The big omission from that team yesterday was Amos. Cameron is over the hill at this level and we have to be looking forward. What does look glaringly obvious is that we are short of replacements in several positions. I am almost certain that MW will be looking at the loan market to fill those gaps. Like a number of people on here I really hope to see Dieng in the number one shirt, the two ahead of him are poor.
Can't recall the last time we scored direct from a free kick - they usually end up either in Row Z or straight in to the wall
Eze wasn't it, early on last season in a home win, a medium paced, well placed daisy cutter, that probably should have been saved.
Really pleased with result just need to remember we had a 3 week break whereas Wimbledon hadn’t played since March so we were bound to be sharper and fitter. Let’s hope the positives continue though
