They pushed their luck with their stupid request of only signing a manager until the end of the season (for some reason) and as a result, who do they have left in the hat? Steve Bruce and Ray Wilkins <doh>

I hope they go down with their awful football. One or two decent players up for grabs if they do as well.

Did I hear somewhere the new manager will be sacked if they go down, think that is putting managers off if true.

The only person that could guarantee them not going down is a bit too busy upstairs sorting out who can and who can't get through the Pearly Gates.

No manager will want to touch that team. Not able to buy anyone and having to work with that bunch will put them off. We better beat them on Saturday, will be fuming with even a draw.

Got to say I was thinking that. If this had been put on GC instead of Sunderland it would have been closed straight away.

1). Newcastle board is a bit light these days, so it's a neutral topic both boards can talk about
2). Steve Bruce is your ex-manager, so it's somewhat related

No guarantee Bruce will be the manager at Wolves, I heard it suggested somewhere he had turned the job down.

I heard Wolves fans were none too happy about Steve Bruce being supposedly in the frame.

However **** Mick was doing, I'm sure he would have kept them up. Now the board may just pay the price.

Would you be? They lose a derby 5-1 and want to hire an expert in that area?

Steve Bruce needs a big club to prove himself, he hasn't had that yet. Maybe Wolves, being the biggest out of the ones he has managed, could be the point that he turns his career round?
