Anyone watched any of it? I have seen quite a few games this week and have been impressed. Some of the vision in the passing has been great, unfortunately they don`t have the technical ability to carry it off. The tackling is hard and fair with nobody rolling around the floor like their leg is broke, there has been only one incident of diving in all the games I have seen. Some of the set piece situations have been very good/innovative and again, with a little more technical ability, would have produced many goals. Over all I have been very surprised with what I have seen and can only praise their coaches.
Watched a few minutes here and there and I have to say I've found it to be absolutely ****. Did you see the one who picked the ball up in the middle of the penalty area?
Nope, must say I missed that Just finished watching USA v Sweden, very entertaining for 0-0, good passing game and some very good positional/tactical play.
Tbf we do play like girls, I hate nice teams and we are certainly that, a few more cards required next season. When you are in with a shout of fair play awards you know you're playing ****.
For all those having a go at the women`s game, I have just Watched England beat Columbia 2-1 Columbia`s team contained..........Ospina, Gaitan, Vidal, Rincon, Montoya and Valazquez. Now that is some team of ringers
WOMEN cannot play football, a plump and uncoordinated man has claimed. 42-year-old car park attendant Wayne Hayes has heavily criticised players in the Women’s World Cup, despite not having got off his fat arse and run around for decades. Largely sedentary Hayes said: “The women are doing it all wrong. “Yes, they appear to be running around and kicking the ball in a football-playing manner, but you can bet they are all thinking about pretty vintage tea parties rather than goals. “They are ruining the game, and if I had the conviction or physical vigour to play sport on any level then I would show them what a man can do. “However because of my dodgy knee, my opinions are purely theoretical. A bit like Einstein, if Einstein had some kebab juice on his shirt and only said things that he felt confident his mates would agree with.” http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/sport...-opinions-about-womens-football-2015060899013
Come on admit it. If there was any other proper competitive football, you wouldn't have been watching women's footie. I tried watching it before. But just could not not get into it. Too many passes going astray, shots barely reaching the GK. It is like watching kids football on a Sunday or the RS last season...Sorry.
Sunday league with 11 players who havent yet been to sleep and still drinking is a significantly higher standard than the womens world cup.
